Successful launch event

April 2010

Well it’s been a hectic few weeks.  The team and I have been delighted by the response to Steve’s Leaves.  A recent highlight was our launch event in London.  This comprised of a screening of the Steve’s Leaves video (now on the web-site), followed by a supper of several superb dishes featuring Steve’s Leaves.  It was great to have Thomasina Miers “open” the event and to be able to “talk leaves” to a true connoisseur!!  In fact I spent the whole evening extolling the virtues of our very special leaves to our various guests.  It was great to have so many people in one place that were genuinely interested in the exciting things we are doing at Steve’s Leaves.  I often enthuse at dinner parties but after a while get a kick under the table from my wife!  At the launch I was able to let flow for several hours without anyone glazing over.

The recent weather has been great for our British leaves….. bright days and cold nights.  Look out for our Hampshire grown Baby Watercress.  The relatively warm flowing mineral rich water in which the Baby Watercress grows means it is always the first crop to be harvested from our UK farms.  Let’s hope the lovely weather continues.
